Do your friends describe you as reliable, energetic, and great with animals? FLOD is on the lookout for our next Dog Daycare Handler & Bather to join our Team! This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to build experience in animal care, dog training, or pet services. You'll gain hands-on experience in canine behavior and group dynamics while helping dogs stay happy, healthy, and social.
What You'll Do:
Supervise and play with groups of dogs of all breeds and sizes (yes, even the big slobbery ones!) Work both indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather Be a positive, assertive pack leader that dogs can trust and follow Stay alert and attentive—know each dog's name, personality, and play style Monitor behavior and document any unusual activity Keep our facility sparkling clean and safe (yes, this includes poop-scooping!) Give salon-quality baths (we'll train you—tips included!) Snap fun photos and videos for our social media (bonus points for creativity!) Feed dogs and help keep their routines on track Interact with dog parents in a friendly, helpful way to create a welcoming, family-like vibe
Who You Are:
You're at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation You're mature, dependable , and take pride in showing up on time You're physically active —you can lift up to 70 lbs, be on your feet most of the day, and handle high-energy pups You love dogs (all breeds!) and aren't afraid to get a little dirty You're eager to learn about dog behavior, body language, and positive reinforcement training You enjoy working as part of a team and bring a positive, can-do attitude You're looking for more than just a job—you want to start a career in pet care What You'll Need to
