Job Description
We're hiring a Food Service Director to lead dining and nutrition services at a Confidential skilled nursing and rehab facility in the Wilmington, DE area. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing menu planning, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day kitchen operations for a facility that takes pride in resident care. Position Description Lead and manage the dietary team, including scheduling, training, and daily operations Plan and adjust menus to meet residents' nutritional needs, preferences, and dietary restrictions Ensure meals are served accurately and on time, including therapeutic diets Keep the kitchen and dining areas compliant with health, safety, and sanitation standards Work with nursing and care staff to support resident wellbeing Prepare for and respond to state health inspections and audits Qualifications CDM, Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietary Technician, or equivalent credential 3-5 years leading a food service department in a healthcare setting Solid knowledge of food safety, sanitation codes, and kitchen equipment ServSafe certification required; ServSafe Allergens a plus For more information, please apply!
