Supply Chain:
The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group's success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.
Your Next Pour:
The Opportunity We are looking to add a Packaging Off Shift Supervisor for our Diversified department team. This role will be responsible for managing all activities associated with their front-line teams, in order to positively impact the overall department/area. The Supervisor will be leading a team consisting of hourly front-line associates, and possibly salaried associates Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
Optimize operational efficiencies to support the facility's production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations. Ensure Tropicana Brands Group financial and accounting control procedures are followed to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained. Identify and coordinate operations improvements necessary to deliver the site annual operating plan (AOP). Ensure cost performance gaps are identified, action plans are developed, and resources are properly allocated. Builds capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel Manage the performance of direct reports through performance reviews, frequent discussions, coaching, and career development action plans. Build and develop talent by effectively leveraging Tropicana Brands Group Career Growth and Leadership Models and the
Performance Management Process:
objective setting, performance and development (PDR), CDAP, people planning, 360 feedback, and competency review. This role requires regular presence on the plant floor Directly oversee operational measures including but not limited to efficiency, yield loss, product quality, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy
The Perfect Blend:
Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing preferred preferably food/beverage experience Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications Directly oversee operational measures including but not limited to CIL/CL compliance, minor stop loss, OEE/TE/RE improvement plans, SRC/RCA/BDA completion.
Foundational Ingredients:
Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
