What You'll Do As a Shift Lead, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and every cup of coffee meets our high standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush Leading by example to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. Assisting with daily operations, including opening or closing the store, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness. Troubleshooting challenges as they arise and keeping the energy upbeat and productive. Upholding Scooter's Coffee's commitment to quality, speed, and service excellence. Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner. Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need: At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage people and priorities. A passion for coffee and customer service, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
