We are currently conducting a search for a major first-class resort located on one of the outstanding islands in the Caribbean. The Director of Restaurants role will be responsible for 7 or 8 fine dining and semi-fine dining restaurants and bars. To qualify for this role, the Director of Restaurants must have a minimum of five years of experience in first-class fine dining restaurants in a senior-level management role. You must have a sound understanding of wine, spirits, beer, and other beverages. Thorough knowledge of resort-style service and guest expectations, extensive knowledge of forecasting and budgeting, and the ability to plan, implement, and design operating standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will drive for results, must be hands-on, and must be a strategic thinker. A luxury hotel or high-end dining experience with demonstrated knowledge and skills in cuisine from around the world is essential. You must possess excellent operations skills, a solid financial knowledge, superb leadership, and high motivation and results-driven. Our client is looking for a highly motivated and energetic person with working knowledge of systems and operations, along with working knowledge of health and safety regulations. This candidate must possess these characteristics and management abilities.- Extensive resort experience in the Caribbean and North America with the same restaurant service style within an all-inclusive resort environment
- Full understanding in dealing with a major all-inclusive resort operation in the Caribbean
- Must be still hands-on with a high degree of visible presence on the floor to the international guests and to their food and beverage team.
- Must be a highly organized and charismatic person. It is essential that you can strive to be goal and results-oriented as well as have excellent analytical skills.
- Must possess a degree from a recognized educational institution in order to obtain work permit. Languages would also be an advantage.
- Senior-level management positions held within multi-outlet hotel/resort integrated Food and beverage programs.
Compensation Package:
This excellent position pays a base annual salary of US$100,000 plus a outstanding bonus of up to US$50,000 plus company medical benefits.PLEASE NOTE
