Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Closing Shift Lead to oversee the final operations of our restaurant during evening hours. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of staff members to ensure smooth closing procedures, uphold food safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will help maintain operational excellence, manage inventory, and foster a positive team environment that encourages growth and accountability. Duties Supervise and coordinate all closing shift activities, including food preparation, cash handling, and customer service Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations during the closing process Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate transactions and reporting Conduct inventory control checks, monitor food production levels, and assist with food management tasks Train, mentor, and supervise staff members to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards Perform shift management duties including scheduling, staff delegation, and conflict resolution Analyze profit and loss reports to identify areas for operational improvement and cost control Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling regulations Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions, inventory counts, and budgeting tasks Excellent communication skills for team training, staff interviewing, and managerial coordination Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining establishments preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy closing shifts Join us as a Closing Shift Lead where your leadership fuels our team's success!
