Full-time We're looking for a hands-on Café Manager / Person in Charge to lead a new health-focused café within a fitness environment in Miami. This is not a traditional restaurant or hotel kitchen role. We're looking for someone who understands fast-paced café service and is comfortable jumping between coffee, smoothies, bowls, grab-and-go food, customers and day-to-day operations. Experience in a busy smoothie, bowl, coffee or health-focused café is highly preferred. Experience in concepts similar to Playa Bowls, Juice Press, Clean Juice, Sweetgreen or a gym/fitness café would be particularly relevant. What you'll be responsible for: Leading day-to-day café operations Opening and closing the café Managing opening and closing checklists Ordering and stock control Monitoring product yields and reducing waste Training staff and signing off team members on procedures Maintaining excellent cleanliness and food safety standards Handling member/customer feedback and complaints Overseeing closing cash and POS procedures Ensuring coffee, smoothies, bowls and grab-and-go products are consistently prepared to standard Supporting the team during busy service periods We're looking for someone who: Has previous café supervisory or management experience Has worked in a high-volume coffee, smoothie, bowl or similar fast-casual environment Is hands-on and happy to work alongside the team Works quickly while maintaining cleanliness and attention to detail Has strong customer service skills and a positive personality Is organised, reliable and comfortable taking ownership Is interested in health, fitness and wellness Works well in a startup environment where everyone helps where needed Speaks English confidently Spanish is a strong advantage Florida Certified Food Protection Manager certification is required for the management role. If not already certified, the successful candidate must obtain an approved certification within the required period after employment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a café, leading a small team and being actively involved in service rather than managing from the sidelines.
Compensation:
Competitive supervisor/management-level compensation based on experience.
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 48.0 per week
