Position:
Server Captain - Clubhouse Restaurant We are seeking an experienced service captain to join our team at the prestigious Smyrna Yacht Club in New Smyrna Beach. The ideal candidate will have experience serving in a fine dining or casual fine dining restaurant environment. This position involves a mix of day and night shifts, Tuesday through Saturday. Experience serving in a fine dining or casual fine dining restaurant setting. Strong communication and customer service skills. A commitment to teamwork and creating a positive work environment. Availability for both day and night shifts, Tuesday through Saturday. Job Summary- Assist Food & Beverage Manager
- Educating and supervising service staff
- Supervising opening and closing side work
- Assist with Banquet set up and break down
- Additionally, anything else pertaining to member services, and satisfaction Individual must be able to multi-task in serving members, overseeing club house service staff, assign stations for staff, resolve complaints from members, anticipate needs of members and staff availability and providing education to staff members on steps of service Job Duties
- Greet members/guests and oversees actual service on a routine basis maintaining a highly visible presence for staff and members
- Assign staff stations for service operations
- Ensure opening and closing side work is accomplished
- Monitor employee dress code according to policies and procedures
- Approves employees' completion of tasks and making the timely release of employees every evening
- Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, and preventative maintenance standards are met
- Assures that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost controls are in place and utilized
- Assists with new employee orientation and training programs
- Assist with developing and implementing policies and procedures for service staff
- Maintains appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities
- Monitors employee dress code and policies according to established procedures
- Reports to Food and Beverage Manager Supervises
