Job Description
Objective Responsible for assisting in the day to day management of the warehouse and employees; In charge of the proper receiving, storage, and inventory all products delivered to the company from its suppliers. Responsibilities/Expectations Safety first in everything you do. Keep all Team Cone values first! Assists 1st shift manager to lead and direct employees. Conducts daily inventory count of close coded and fire sell products. Responsible for inventorying the warehouse each week and correcting any discrepancies. Assists in investigating inventory discrepancies. Unloads and returns Tallahassee transfer product. Unloads inbound loads when needed. Creates pick locations for new items. Ensure that 1st shift is utilizing direct replenishment to its full capacity. Pulls and loads sales department's hot shot, gratis beer, and market swaps. Fills and maintains warehouse inventory picking lines. Updating and transmission of inventory reports. Adherence to all company policies. Position Requirements Knowledge of the food storage or beverage industry. Good organizational skills. Must participate, communicate, and interact with Team Members, Vendors and Customers in a manner that will consistently enhance all Team Cone Core Values. Must be able to interact and negotiate with all levels within Cone Distributing, departments and suppliers. Must have the aptitude to work within and foster a team environment. The ability to learn and understand the company's warehouse management system. Code date systems must be thoroughly understood. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the transportation and storing of malt beverages. Attend all staff meetings as scheduled. Adhere to all company policies. The ability to use Smart Phones, I Pads, computes or other similar electronic devices in the performance of job duties. Ability to lift 25- 30 lbs. packaged beer and 160 lbs. kegs. Frequent reaching, standing, and walking. Able to pass drug and background check Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED Some college preferred. Will consider experience in the field +Education Warehouse Operations experience Computer skills-Word, Power Point, Excel Minimum 5 years in the operations or beverage industry
