  • Food Service Quick Apply Description The Food & Beverage Supervisor is the working lead on shift—running the floor, coaching the team, and ensuring service standards, cleanliness, and pacing are met.
You'll handle guest recovery, support training, safeguard cash/POS controls, and coordinate with Culinary and Bar to deliver a smooth, profitable operation. Key Responsibilities Floor Leadership & Guest Experience Lead pre-shift lineups; set sections and side-work; maintain visible presence on the floor and at the pass. Greet VIPs, monitor pacing and ticket times, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism. Ensure sequence of service, table touch standards, and polished presentation. Team Support & Training Coach servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff in real time on service, sales, and hospitality. Help onboard new hires; reinforce SOPs, allergy protocols, and responsible alcohol service. Quality, Cleanliness & Safety Conduct line checks, station walk-throughs, and restroom/lobby checks; uphold sanitation and appearance standards. Enforce ServSafe/HACCP , TIPS/TEAM , OSHA, and local health code requirements; complete logs and checklists. Financials & Controls Support labor management to forecast; monitor check averages, upsell attachment, and RevPASH during shift. Safeguard POS accuracy, cash banks, comps/voids, and tip compliance; assist with nightly reconciliations. Bar & Beverage Support Verify drink specs, glassware, and draft/CO2 basics; manage 86s and low pars; coordinate with Lead Bartender on pacing. Events & Private Dining (as applicable) Review BEOs; ensure setups, staffing, timing, and charge capture; assist tastings and on-site execution. Communication & Reporting Keep clear pass-down notes (86s, feedback, incidents, maintenance needs); create/follow up on work orders (CMMS) and incident reports.

Qualifications 1-3+ years restaurant or hotel F&B experience; prior lead/key/supervisor experience preferred . Strong guest-service mindset, conflict resolution, and communication skills; calm under pressure. Working knowledge of POS, reservations/waitlist platforms, and basic Excel/Google Sheets. Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service.
Certifications:
Food Handler required; ServSafe Manager and TIPS/TEAM/ServSafe Alcohol preferred (or within 30 days). Flexible availability (nights/weekends/holidays); reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. Bilingual a plus. Physical Requirements Stand/walk for entire shift; frequent bending, reaching, and stair use. Lift/carry/push/pull up to 30-40 lbs (cases, small equipment).
