Job Summary Ours is a team where everyone wears a variety of hats. From the front to back of house, we run a house of hospitality where the sommelier can also be the dishwasher, the chef can also be the food runner, the pastry chef can also prepare salads. We take it upon ourselves to understand and appreciate every element of the house to ensure that guests receive an experience unique to Sage in Bloom whether it by an evening's Chef Tasting or a lunch gathering with friends. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their dining experience Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Serve food and beverages, including wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, with professionalism Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas, including food handling and beverage stations Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any issues with a positive attitude Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub experience Familiarity with POS systems Strong knowledge of beverage service, wine selection, spirits, and food safety protocols Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle sales transaction processing with precision Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates welcoming atmospheres Basic math skills for bill calculations, tips, and inventory management Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, food handling, and proper serving techniques Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality venues Join us in delivering exceptional guest experiences through lively service and passionate hospitality!
