Job Description

Food & Beverage Supervisor Lake Blackshear Resort Position Summary Lake Blackshear Resort is seeking a motivated and dependable Food & Beverage Supervisor to help lead daily restaurant and hospitality operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position works closely with management to ensure all food and beverage outlets operate efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with resort standards. The supervisor is expected to lead by example, maintain a positive work environment, and provide hands-on support during all levels of service. Responsibilities The Food & Beverage Supervisor assists with supervising restaurant, bar, banquet, breakfast, and special event operations throughout the resort. Responsibilities include supporting and directing staff during service, assisting with training and scheduling, monitoring service standards, handling guest concerns professionally, and ensuring all health and sanitation guidelines are followed. This position also helps maintain inventory levels, monitors labor and operational efficiency, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed properly. The supervisor must be able to work closely with team members while creating a professional, team-oriented atmosphere focused on providing outstanding guest service. Qualifications Candidates should have previous food and beverage or hospitality experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Applicants must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced customer service environment. Physical Requirements The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing physical tasks associated with restaurant and resort operations.
