This is a Shift Lead position that also makes ice cram. As a leadership position, you must feel comfortable managing the shop on your own (including open and close) as well as other team members. You must also be able to operate as a scooper: someone who loves to talk story and share their intimate knowledge of our product with the community, taking them through tasting tours and giving them the full PCA experience. But you must also be able to produce ice cream: carry heavy ice cream base boxes, process ingredients like fruit, and operate the ice cream machine on your own.

REQUIREMENTS

In addition to making cones, scooping cups & flights, affogatos, etc at a fast pace additional requirements will include:

• Must have prior experience in food service establishment
• Must feel comfortable managing the shop alone (including opening & close)
• Must feel comfortable managing other team members
• Must have your Food Handler Certificate (or be willing to take the class to obtain one)
• A genuine love and knowledge of the product
• Strong communication skills, can't be shy to share product education
• Flexible schedule with a willingness to work weekends, nights, and select holidays
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the store.
• Continuous cleaning, dishwashing, sanitizing, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning are part of every shift
• Able to complete physical tasks involving moving large containers of ice cream and stocking shelves
