Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Supervisor to lead our banquet service team and ensure seamless execution of all dining events. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions, coordinate with culinary and event staff, and uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining efficient operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate all aspects of banquet service, including food presentation, table setup, and guest interactions Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures Manage inventory control for banquet supplies, linens, and food items to optimize stock levels and reduce waste Train and develop staff members on service techniques, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and hospitality best practices Oversee shift management by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely service delivery during events Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure smooth food production flow for large-scale events Qualifications Proven supervising experience in a food service environment, preferably within a banquet or catering setting Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures Excellent team management skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive work environment Background in hospitality management or restaurant management with a focus on event coordination Demonstrated ability to manage shift operations efficiently in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences Knowledge of inventory control, food production processes, and catering operations Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Banquet Supervisor where your leadership transforms events into extraordinary experiences!
