In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily meal preparation, manage food safety standards, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional dining experiences for our residents or guests. Duties Coordinate and supervise all aspects of food preparation, ensuring meals are nutritious, appealing, and served on time. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize costs. Oversee the operation of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff and food service teams to uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service. Implement food safety management protocols in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Conduct shift management duties including scheduling staff, overseeing daily operations, and resolving any service issues promptly. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or restaurant management within quick service or fast food environments. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis effectively. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in hospitality or food service settings. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and manage team dynamics effectively. Familiarity with food safety protocols, HACCP standards, and food handling procedures. Experience working in casual dining, fine dining, or hotel food service environments is highly desirable.
