Bowl of Heaven Eagle Location:

Part-Time Pay:

•14/hour base pay + tips (typically $3+/hour) Typical total compensation: $16

•17+/hour About Bowl of Heaven Bowl of Heaven is a locally owned açaí bowl and smoothie shop with a simple mission: Strengthen our community by feeding the body and nourishing the soul, one person at a time. We make our bowls and smoothies from real ingredients, blend our bases from scratch, and believe the experience we give people matters just as much as the food we serve. We're looking for a Shift Lead who loves people, works hard, and wants to help create a team and store we can all be proud of. About the Role At Bowl of Heaven, leadership doesn't mean standing back and telling other people what to do. Our Shift Leads lead from the front. You'll work alongside the team while taking ownership of the shift. You'll help keep everyone focused, make sure our standards are being followed, solve problems as they come up, create great experiences for customers, and coach team members when they need support or correction. A great Shift Lead notices what needs to be done without waiting to be told. When we're busy, you help create calm and direction. When we're slow, you keep the team productive. When something isn't meeting our standard, you address it. Most importantly, you set the example. What You'll Do Lead shifts and help the team work together with urgency, kindness, and purpose. Set the standard for hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, productivity, and teamwork. Manage the flow of the store during busy periods and jump into any station when needed. Create genuine customer experiences and help resolve concerns when something doesn't go as planned. Coach team members in the moment and kindly hold the team accountable to Bowl of Heaven standards. Make sure prep, cleaning, station responsibilities, and shift checklists are completed—not simply checked off. Open and/or close the store and follow cash-handling and operational procedures. Help train and develop newer team members. Communicate important shift information, concerns, wins, and team needs to store leadership. Look for what needs to be done next and take ownership of getting it done. Who We're Looking For We care about leadership experience, but we care even more about character, ownership, and willingness to learn. You may be a great fit if you: Are dependable and follow through on what you say you'll do. Naturally notice what needs attention and take action. Work hard even when someone isn't watching. Enjoy working with and developing other people. Can give kind, clear direction to teammates. Are comfortable addressing problems instead of ignoring them. Stay composed and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Care about details and take pride in doing things correctly. Are willing to receive feedback and continue improving. Bring a positive attitude without being afraid of accountability. Previous restaurant, customer-service, or leadership experience is helpful, but not required for the right person. We can teach our systems. We're looking for someone who already brings the work ethic and character. Availability This is a part-time leadership position. Shift Leads must have dependable availability and be able to work a combination of weekdays and weekends. Evening and closing availability is especially important. Because Shift Leads are responsible for running the store during their assigned shifts, reliability and consistent attendance are essential. What You Can Expect From Us You won't be expected to figure leadership out on your own. We provide structured training in our food, stations, hospitality standards, shift operations, and leadership expectations. As you grow, there are opportunities to take on additional responsibility and continue developing within Bowl of Heaven. You'll also be joining a locally owned business where your ideas, growth, and contribution genuinely matter. Why Bowl of Heaven? We want Bowl of Heaven to be more than a place people come to work a shift. We want to build a team of people who care about each other, take pride in their work, serve people well, have fun together, and leave things better than they found them. If that sounds like the kind of team you want to help lead, we'd love to meet you.
