This transition represents an exciting opportunity to expand our mission while continuing the high-quality customer experience the community already loves. The Shift Lead of Negranti by Belong Co. will play a key leadership role in operating a successful ice cream shop while helping create an inclusive workplace where every team member can thrive. There is potential for year-round part-time employment or seasonal (summer) part-time employment. Position Summary The Shift Lead will oversee the daily operations of the Garden City location, ensuring excellent customer service, strong team leadership, and smooth shop operations. This role will supervise staff, support employees with disabilities in their work roles, and help maintain a positive, welcoming environment for both employees and customers. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Negranti by Belong Co. Garden City location Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment for employees of all abilities Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming shop atmosphere Maintain food safety and operational standards Support onboarding and training of employees, including adults with disabilities Collaborate with Belong Co. leadership to improve systems and shop performance Assist with community engagement and special events Currently looking for: Tuesday day shift, 8:30a-3pm Thursday night shift, 3p-9p Friday night shift, 3-9p and always needing more weekend people (specifically the night shift, 2:30pm-9p both on Saturday and Sunday) You do not need to fill all of these shifts to apply!
