Summary
This job description is to outline the responsibilities and daily tasks of the Milk Receiving Operator. This role has a responsibility for ensuring both food safety and quality of Chobani product.
Responsibilities Ensure that safety is number one priority and that all safety policies are followed Taking samples and visually inspecting all milk trucks to be unloaded Ensure accurate input of milk ticker entries Ensure that trucks are unloaded/loaded safely and efficiently Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed safely and efficiently Keep truck bays clean and clear so that trucks can move in and out efficiently Keep track of cleaning timers for silos so that they are washed in a timely manner Hook up silos for CIP in a safe and timely manner Work closely with the QA team for sample results Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to Milk Receiving Operators to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Support training, coaching, and onboarding of Milk Receiving Operators to ensure team members understand standard work, safety expectations, GMPs, and department procedures. Help coordinate shift priorities, coverage, and workflow to meet business needs and support efficient milk receiving operations. Act as a point of contact for operators by answering process questions, reinforcing expectations, and escalating concerns to leadership when needed. Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment by modeling Chobani values and encouraging consistent performance across the team. Demonstrate and reinforce Chobani's core competencies by leading with accountability, communicating effectively, supporting collaboration, driving results, and modeling respectful and professional behavior. Make sure all GMPs are followed Monitor and ensure all data is entered in Safety Chain Other duties as assigned Follow Chobani's safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. Cross trained to operate and run scale house as needed per business needs.
