Job Description
Thornton Heights Terrace, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility, has a current job opportunity for a second shift House Supervisor. Our "one size does not fit all" philosophy insures that our 210 ambulatory adults with a history of mental illness receive Recovery oriented services best suited to their individual strengths and needs. The goal of our residential setting is to promote residents throughout their recovery and prepare them for transition to a less structured community living arrangement. The House Supervisor must be qualified as a MHP - must have a bachelor's degree in counseling, social work or related field. As House Supervisor you would have some case management responsibilities: Establish therapeutic relationships with residents Perform and/or review clinical assessments Coordinate, participate and lend clinical expertise to Interdisciplinary teams Develop and implement Individualized Treatment Plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention Author appropriate and timely documentation As a House Supervisor you would additionally provide routine rounds, assess crisis situations, ensure all departments are staffed adequately and provide training to staff. Social Services staff are available 24/7, 7 days a week. This position is 3-11:30pm Monday through Friday.
