Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Shift Leader, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a key leader on the floor, you will oversee food preparation, manage staff, and uphold food safety standards while maintaining a lively, energetic atmosphere. Your leadership will inspire team members, streamline service processes, and foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork and excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring efficient food production and service delivery Lead and motivate team members to achieve high standards of customer service and operational excellence Oversee food handling, preparation, and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing Control inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and monitor food costs to optimize profitability Train new staff members on food safety protocols, customer service techniques, and restaurant procedures Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Conduct shift reports, monitor labor costs, and assist with profit and loss analysis to support business goals Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling procedures; experience with food safety management preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage conflict resolution Basic math skills for inventory control, budgeting, and financial analysis Experience in managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader where your energy, leadership skills, and passion for hospitality will make a lasting impact.
