About the
Role:
The Royals Hot Chicken Shift Leader (FOH) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front-of-house during their assigned shifts. This position is responsible for leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and managing daily operational tasks to create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. The Shift Leader acts as a liaison between management and staff, addressing any issues promptly and fostering a positive work environment. They oversee order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and staff performance, ensuring that all company policies and health regulations are strictly followed. Ultimately, the Shift Leader contributes significantly to the restaurant's reputation and success by driving team productivity and upholding the brand's commitment to quality and hospitality.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in the food service industry. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures. Certification in food safety or hospitality management. Experience working in a high-volume, quick-service restaurant setting. Demonstrated ability to train and develop team members effectively.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff activities to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction. Manage customer interactions, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests. Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, inventory checks, and cleanliness standards. Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain high performance and adherence to company policies. Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth communication and timely order fulfillment.
