Janitorial Supervisor- 2nd Shift

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities performed by janitorial staff during the 2nd shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly. Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies related to custodial work. Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment to maintain operational readiness. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to quality standards. Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and motivate team members to meet performance goals in a fast-paced environment. Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or management promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety incidents, inventory levels, and shift reports for accountability and continuous improvement. Experience Proven supervising experience in janitorial services, custodial management, or hospitality housekeeping management. Strong background in commercial cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or healthcare facility sanitation is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Extensive janitorial experience including cleaning techniques, laundry operations, and custodial procedures. Familiarity with safety standards related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace hygiene practices. Previous management experience in hospitality or hospitality-related environments is a plus.
