Job Description

Job Summary You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for leading the Banquet team on all banquet functions, including set-up, service, and breakdown. You will use the freedom to go beyond to turn guest interactions into moments of magic. The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for leading on the floor execution of high-end events, including weddings, social events, and corporate functions. This role ensures all service standards reflect a luxury experience, with a strong focus on team coordination, delegation, attention to detail and guest experience. Responsibilities Lead event execution from setup through breakdown with full ownership of assigned events Execute BEOs with precision, ensuring all details are aligned and delivered Delegate tasks and work flow to banquet servers, bartenders, and housemen with clear confident leadership Maintain continuous awareness of timing, flow, and guest experience throughout the event Ensure all event spaces always meet Cliff House Luxury Standards Serve as the primary point of contact for service during events, collaborating with the culinary and planning team Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring quality, presentation and timing Complete accurate event paperwork, including consumption, billing, and daily reports Leadership Expectations Leads by example with polished, professional presence Communicates clearly and calmly under pressure Anticipates guest and staff needs before they arise Maintains high accountability for team performance and event success Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing. Knowledge of POS A qualified applicant is a "people person" who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy.
