Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations. Train and develop staff in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures. Manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Assist in cooking and food production as needed to support the kitchen team. Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members. Implement training programs for new employees to ensure they meet company standards. Monitor team performance and provide feedback to promote continuous improvement. Assist with budgeting and financial management of the shift. Experience Candidates should have prior experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment, with a strong background in food service management.

Additional qualifications include:

Experience in supervising or managing a team within the food industry. Culinary experience with knowledge of food handling and production techniques. Familiarity with casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred. Proven ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a positive work atmosphere. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.
