Job Overview We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and positive Shift Lead to join our Dairy Queen team! The Shift Lead helps oversee daily operations, supports team members, and ensures every customer receives fast, friendly service. As a Shift Lead, you will work alongside the crew while helping manage the shift, maintain a clean and organized restaurant, and ensure that Dairy Queen standards are being followed.

Responsibilities:

Help oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts Lead, motivate, and support crew members Provide excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally Assist with opening and closing procedures Manage cash handling and register procedures Ensure food is prepared correctly and follows safety and quality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Help with employee training and coaching Monitor staff performance and ensure employees stay productive during shifts Assist with inventory, stocking, and supplies as needed Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations Handle problems that arise during a shift and communicate important issues to management

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, responsible, and able to take initiative Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Comfortable handling cash and following proper procedures Ability to stand for extended periods and perform regular restaurant duties Previous work experience in the food industry is preferred Join us as a Shift Lead to lead with energy, inspire your team, and drive success!
