Job Summary Kingsley Area Schools, serving approximately 1,450 students across three school buildings and two preschool locations, is seeking a hands-on Assistant Director of Dining Services to support the district's student nutrition program. Reporting to the Director of Dining Services, this position plays a key role in daily operations, including ordering, inventory management, food costing, budgeting, and kitchen staff support for a team of approximately 13 frontline associates. The ideal candidate will bring a solid food service background, culinary knowledge, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact by helping lead and promote student-focused programs such as Mood Boost, Global Eats, Student Choice, and Discovery Kitchen. The Assistant Director will also conduct food demonstrations and presentations in classroom and school settings, assist with small K-12 catering events, and help create engaging dining experiences for students and staff.
