Are you ready for a 5:30am - 2:00pm schedule? Come join our team! Our top-notch food service team is responsible for food service in our employee cafeteria. We promote and maintain the highest standard of health and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare food items in hot and cold food applications and café while following established food preparation procedures for the purpose of meeting the mandated food safety standards. Responsible for various daily cafeteria and café task such as: wash dishes, unload stock from recently deliveries, organize and put away inventory, and operate and balance the cash register. (This is not an exhaustive list) Expected to keep all areas of operation clean, organized, and sanitary while continuously striving to improve operations. Responsible for completing daily assigned café/cafeteria tasks and completing any reports or logs as it relates to such. Ability to deliver food to all buildings, in all weather elements, must have valid driver's license and able to drive to various locations to make deliveries. Lift and move materials and parts weighing up to 60 pounds as needed. Frequent physical lifting, bending, twisting, and stooping, and repetitive hand motions including gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and bending. Perform food preparation tasks requiring repetitive hand movements. Perform other food production duties as assigned and instructed by supervisor for the overall goal of an efficient and functional cafeteria and café. Must be able to work standing in a kitchen setting for up to 8 hours of the workday. Work in a team environment and maintain professional communication. Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring efficient and effective functions of the cafeteria. Regular and reliable attendance in the office is required. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One year or more related experience or training in food service preferred. ServSafe certification preferred. Must have adequate math skills for operating a cash register and handling money. Must possess an upbeat and positive attitude. Kitchen knife skills preferred. Self-motivated. Strong time management skills. Reliable and dependable. Must be organized. Ability to take direction. Candidate must be upbeat and positive. Ability to work successfully within a team and individually. The hours for this position are 5:30am - 2:00pm, Monday through Friday. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
