The shift leader supports both the Assistant GM and the General Manager in the restaurant. They lead by example and assist employees with daily routines and tasks while maintaining Raydal Hospitality standards.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for some opening and closing shifts. Uphold safety and sanitation standards. Check and correct prep for that service/day. Maintain labor as per the GM schedule or project sales. Manage and assist to meet ticket time standards, food preparation standards and plating standards. Create a healthy working environment for our employees. Help to achieve sales goals by upselling, table touches and great customer service.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-year full-service restaurant leadership experience preferred. Serv Safe certified recommended (we provide training upon hiring). Computer literate and basic Math skills. An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays. Reliable transportation required.
