Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, culinary knowledge, and experience in food service management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of employees during assigned shifts
- Ensure smooth operation of all areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to achieve business goals and targets
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Culinary knowledge and experience in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or Shift Leader role preferred
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS system
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to enforce them
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees
