As the Director, you will be able to create delicious and nutritious menus for our residents, build and develop our Food Services team, and grow as a manager! The schedule is Monday to Friday; and weekends as needed. Requirements/Qualifications Certified Food Service Manager ServSafe Certification High School Diploma Culinary Degree or 5+ years of experience 2 Years of Food Service Experience in a Healthcare Setting Knowledge of special diets and preparations such as low sodium, heart healthy, diabetic, puree and mechanical soft Well-versed in healthcare regulations as it relates to kitchen sanitation, including infection control measures related to food preparation, cooking and service of meals Ability to create quality and presentable meals a must. Job Responsibilities Creating and preparing monthly menus Managing the department, ensuring adequate staff and performance Maintaining department budget with proper ordering, scheduling, and food production Monitor use of food to eliminate waste Stock food in compliance with dietary policies and procedures.
