Volunteers of America Delaware Valley Current Job Opportunities 9/11/2026 Shift Supervisor (CV771-1) - Reentry Services Division We want to hire a Shift Supervisor to join our highly dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Director and/or Program Coordinator and be an integral member of the management team of the facility. The successful candidate will take a leadership role on a given shift. This is a true opportunity . They will be the contact person for the facility and take the lead to ensure completion of Program Assistant responsibilities in the facility on their shift. In addition, they will supervise second and third shift weekday staff including training and performance appraisals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
are custodial in function including: Coordination of on-going security of the facility Accountability for the client population Supervision and support of all clients in their daily routine and chore assignments The orientation of new clients Filing of all necessary paperwork and documentation in compliance with Volunteers of America Delaware Valley procedures and funding source requirementsREQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Volunteers of America employee (preferred) OR 2 years of human services experience AND previous supervisory experience A valid driver's license and be able to meet Volunteers of America driver standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic computer experience EEO of "Individuals with Disabilities" and "Veteran Status"/AABenefits
