Dietary Supervisor Job Description:
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual interested in a challenging role in the dietary department? As a Dietary Supervisor at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dietary department and report to the Dietary Director. This full-time, day or evening shift position offers a competitive salary range of $17-$19/
HR Responsibilities:
Oversee the kitchen during scheduled shifts, ensuring proper sanitation and safety protocols are followed Ensure safe food handling practices and staff adherence to facility policies and procedures Prepare and maintain departmental work schedules Multi-task and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient operations Hold daily huddle meetings with staff to discuss department goals and objectives Follow all dietary and facility-wide policies and procedures
Requirements:
Food service experience preferred, but will train the right candidate Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and maintain a positive attitude Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Valid New York State Food Service Manager's Certification preferred
