Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and smooth team management. Duties Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities during your shift, including food preparation, service, and clean-up. Lead and motivate team members, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of hospitality and food quality. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Oversee inventory control processes, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and food safety compliance. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across kitchen and dining areas. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests. Assist with budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and cost control measures to maximize restaurant profitability. Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling. Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant management settings. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required. Strong understanding of inventory management, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills for staff training, managerial communication, and customer service excellence. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory counts. Experience with managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
