Director of Food Service Located near

East Norwich, NY Salary:

$70K - $80K; based on prior experience A beautiful, skilled nursing facility located near East Norwich, NY is looking for a strong Food Service Director.

Responsibilities:

Directs the purchasing, receiving, storing and preparing of food and related products Creating the menu, developing recipes, and overseeing kitchen staff, operations, inventory, DOH regulations compliance and orders Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates Properly opens the Food Service on shift assigned Schedules department working hours, personnel, and work assignments to maintain quality service Interviews, hires, and trains associates and maintains excellent relationships with clients Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Must have proven experience as a Food Service Director in an independent living or assisted living settings Must have FSD experience Certification in food safety as required by state regulations Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to maintain high standards of quality and compliance Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and handling technique Hudson View Network is a medical recruiting firm whose goal is to bridge exceptional talent to superior institutions.
