  • Adirondack Area Lake George, New York | Full-Time Leadership Position The Holiday Inn Resort Lake George is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Food & Beverage Director to lead the operations of TR's Restaurant & Lounge, banquet and event services, poolside dining, and all resort food and beverage programs.
Our year-round, family-friendly resort features 129 guest rooms and suites, extensive indoor and outdoor amenities, meeting and event space, and a full-service restaurant and lounge. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is passionate about exceptional guest experiences, team development, quality food and beverage service, and strong financial performance. Key Responsibilities Oversee all food and beverage operations, including TR's Restaurant & Lounge, breakfast, banquets, catered events, room service, poolside service, and seasonal programming Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate food and beverage team members Maintain high standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction Work closely with culinary leadership to develop menus, seasonal specials, promotions, and profitable dining experiences Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, food and beverage costs, inventory, purchasing, and financial reporting Monitor sales and expenses while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve profitability Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, liquor, and brand standards Respond professionally and promptly to guest feedback and service concerns Coordinate banquet and group functions with the sales, culinary, and operations teams Develop creative programming and promotions that appeal to hotel guests, local residents, families, and special-event attendees Serve as an active member of the resort's leadership team and Manager on Duty rotation Lead by example and remain visible and engaged during peak business periods, weekends, holidays, and special events POS system familiarity

  • is a plus, but can also be trained on the system Qualifications Previous food and beverage management experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or high-volume hospitality environment Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage labor, inventory, budgets, and departmental profitability Experience with banquets, catering, restaurant service, and bar operations preferred Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service requirements Ability to develop, train, and retain a service-focused team Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays•minimum of 45 hour work week ServSafe and responsible alcohol-service certifications preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Year-round, full-time employment Health, 401K and additional benefits Paid time off Hotel employee travel discounts Dining discounts Opportunities for professional growth and advancement A supportive, team-oriented workplace in the heart of Lake George The ideal candidate will be a visible and approachable leader who takes pride in developing a strong team, creating memorable guest experiences, and building a successful food and beverage operation.
