Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dietary Manager to lead our culinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to seniors. As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals for our residents, ensuring that all dietary needs are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals, including menu planning, food purchasing, and inventory management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and dietitians Coordinate with other departments, including nursing, activities, and housekeeping, to ensure seamless service Monitor food quality, safety, and sanitation, and implement improvements as needed Manage food budgets, inventory, and supplies Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure personalized dietary needs are met
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a dietary or culinary role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in foodservice management, nutrition, or a related field preferred Why Join Our Team?
