Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Assistant Supervisor to support daily kitchen operations while also assisting with cashier and stocking responsibilities. This role works closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure food quality, cleanliness, organization, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations Prepare, cook, and properly rotate food items in accordance with food safety standards Maintain proper food prep etiquette, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures Monitor product freshness, labeling, and inventory levels Assist in developing and executing menu items and daily/weekly specials Operate cash register accurately and provide friendly customer service Stock shelves, coolers, and kitchen supplies as needed Help maintain organized storage areas (dry, refrigerated, and frozen) Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Support team members during busy periods and lead by example
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and rotation procedures (FIFO) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Friendly, customer-focused attitude Reliable and punctual
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs Ability to work in a kitchen environment (heat, refrigeration areas, etc.)
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$11.50 - $18.50 per hour
