Job Description

Start Rate:
$25.00/hour | Full-Time | 3rd shift Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Cage/Vault Shift Lead ensures the effectiveness of Casino Cage and Vault Operations. You will report to the Cage Vault Shift Manager 2.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will oversee and train new hires, cage cashiers, tip cashiers, poker cashiers and OTB cashiers to include resolving associate performance issues, conducting performance management with staff (Reviews, address sub-standard performance), promoting teamwork and inclusiveness, auditing/inspecting work of your team to ensure standards are met. 2. Work with other Front of the House Casino Departments, Poker, Table Games, Player's Club, Player Development, Promotions, Slot Operation, Food & Beverage, Hotel and local Travel Plazas to ensure their monetary needs are met to obtain excellent guest satisfaction and all transaction paperwork is accurate. 3. You will maintain security, surveillance and gaming policy & procedures to protect the assets of the Casino and report all fraudulent and suspicious activity immediately. 4. Develop methods, processes, staffing to forecast/fulfill demand and prepare cashier window rotation based on needs and to ensure equality for all team members. 5. Resolve customer issues, answer public inquiries, and immediately resolve customer/associate/management concerns. 6. You will prepare and respond to reports and inquiries related to auditing of casino paperwork. Work with Revenue Audit and Compliance to ensure all standards are met. 7. Use multiple computer software to enter, access, record, review or retrieve data. 8. You will implement corrective/preventative actions and always inspect and retrain your team. 9. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of high-volume cash handling policies. This includes security, verification, and accuracy.
  • Able to work with large sums of money and chips.
  • Ability to apply excellent oral techniques.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Three (3) years cash handing experience with prior management experience preferred.
