As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food handling, and leading your team to deliver outstanding service during shifts. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Maintain high standards of food management and handling practices in compliance with health regulations. Assist in budgeting and inventory control to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste. Oversee banquet services, ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly. Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with the management team to implement operational improvements and enhance service quality. Qualifications Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or casual dining settings. Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Experience with budgeting and inventory control processes is highly desirable. Previous experience as an assistant manager or in a leadership role is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
