Why this job matters At Ko-Kwel Casino Resort, every Guest deserves an engaging, seamless, and high-energy dining experience. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you support the Restaurant Manager by leading front-of-house operations and ensuring exceptional service across the bar, dining areas, pool deck, and outdoor seating. Through strong on-shift leadership, clear communication, and attention to service standards, you help create a welcoming environment for both Guests and Team Members. When the Restaurant Manager is not present, you serve as the lead point of contact, ensuring daily operations run safely, smoothly, and efficiently. What you bring to the table Make sure the space stay safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee. Support and oversee daily Food & Beverage operations across all 5 O'clock Somewhere Bar & Grill service areas, ensuring consistency with brand standards. Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts, delivering high-quality, energetic, and guest-focused service. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall readiness of all guest facing areas, including indoor/outdoor bar, dining spaces, pool deck, and patio. Address and resolve routine Guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as needed. Supervise Servers, Bartenders, Hosts, and Support Staff to ensure smooth service flow and teamwork. Assist with onboarding and training new Team Members while reinforcing service standards and expectations. Communicate shift priorities, section assignments, and operational updates clearly and respectfully. Model a positive, team-focused attitude while fostering a fun, high-energy, and respectful work environment. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the Hotel Front Office, Sales Department, Kitchen, and other departments. Support the execution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including event setup, service coordination, and staffing adjustments as directed by Management. Assist with inventory counts and notify the Restaurant Manager of low inventory or supply needs. Support menu development by sharing Guest feedback and identifying high- and low-performing items. Complete opening, closing, and cash-handling procedures accurately during assigned shifts. Support on-site promotions, events, and marketing initiatives as directed. Engage with Guests to build loyalty, encourage repeat business, and create memorable experiences. Understand, comply with, and help enforce all company policies, safety standards, and sanitation practices; report accidents or incidents promptly. Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothy. (Other duties as assigned) Must-haves, nice-to-haves, and maybe some bonus points Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience (supervisory experience preferred.) Strong communication skills and the ability to remain professional in difficult situations. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in fundamental computer applications and POS systems.
