Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Manager specializing in Bar Operations to lead our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will oversee daily bar service, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain smooth restaurant operations. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and optimize profitability. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the bar team, ensuring high standards of service, food preparation, and beverage presentation. Oversee food and drink production, including cooking, food handling, and ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices. Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Train staff on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to foster a skilled and motivated team. Supervise shift operations to ensure efficient service flow during busy hours while maintaining compliance with health regulations. Conduct staff interviews, manage scheduling, and oversee team training & development initiatives to build a cohesive hospitality team. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies. Enforce food safety management standards and ensure all team members follow proper hygiene practices. Support catering events or banquet services as needed to expand the restaurant's offerings and guest experiences. Requirements 3+ years of full-service restaurant experience required Background in mixology, craft cocktails, and/or a distillery is highly recommended Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS; cash handling experience required. Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles. Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control procedures, and food handling regulations. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, inventory counts, and profit analysis. Experience managing hospitality teams in diverse settings including fine dining or casual dining with bar service is preferred. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team management, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. $56,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
