Position:
Task Force Director of Food & Beverage Department:
Food & Beverage Exempt Position Reports to: Vice President, Food & Beverage OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Task Force Director of Food & Beverage. What will you be doing most days?
  • Work at various properties, assisting when f&b leadership positions are open, to help struggling locations or when we are opening a new location.
  • Maintain a service and management philosophy that demonstrates OTO's Guiding Principles.
  • Oversee all front of house operations, including restaurants, bars and banquet space.
  • Lead daily line ups and department meetings, conduct daily walk throughs of event set ups and coordinate/participate in BEO meetings.
  • Lead the f&b team to success through developing team members and training to OTO standards. Recruit, hire, train and coach as necessary.
  • Monitor top-line and bottom-line financial performance, including labor costs, food cost and beverage costs.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef on menus and pricing.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director of Food & Beverage overseeing the property to strategize and implement changes as necessary. What are the requirements for this position?
  • You have a four-year college degree with a major in Hospitality Management, business or related field.
  • You have prior experience as a restaurant GM or Director of Food & Beverage, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Food Handler certification and Tips Certified
  • Experience with all aspects of restaurant/banquet/catering/bar operations. Proven systems knowledge and experience with restaurant POS.
  • You must be a dedicated self-starter with a strong attention to detail and you must work well independently and as part of a team
  • You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional business environment both verbally and in writing Physical Requirements for this Position You must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.
Travel Requirements This position requires significant travel, with a schedule of two full weeks (including weekends) then three days at home with each rotation. Travel assignments can be at any of OTO's hotels across the country depending on need.
