Job Summary As a Caribou Coffee Manager, you will be the driving force behind our vibrant coffee shop environment! Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages. You'll oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that every cup of coffee served meets our high standards. What you'll do Lead and motivate your team to provide outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards while managing inventory control effectively. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems. Train and develop staff in culinary skills, customer service techniques, and operational procedures to enhance their performance. Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for peak hours while maintaining a positive work environment. Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas to uphold cleanliness and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with upper management on budgeting and financial planning to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service. Foster relationships with customers by engaging with them directly, addressing concerns, and promoting new products. Basic qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Previous Barista experience preferred Preferred qualifications Familiarity with food and beverage preparation is a plus. Previous barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation techniques would be beneficial.
