Responsibilities Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Manage cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash handling procedures with precision Provide excellent customer service by taking food service orders, answering inquiries, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring sanitation standards are met in food preparation areas and customer zones Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to food safety management and sanitation protocols Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently followed during service Support team members with operating kitchen equipment and managing food service customer orders in a quick-service environment Uphold a positive work environment by managing time effectively, supporting team collaboration, and maintaining a fast-paced workflow Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick-service restaurants, or retail sales transactions is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and process cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential Previous cashiering or restaurant experience will help you excel in this energetic role Join us to be part of an engaging environment where your energy makes a difference!
