Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dietary Manager to lead our food service operations within a skilled nursing facility. Duties Manage daily food service operations, including meal planning, preparation, and presentation, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and resident preferences Supervise and coordinate food service teams, including cooks, dietary aides, and other staff members, promoting teamwork and high performance Develop and implement care plans that incorporate nutritional assessments and personalized diet modifications for residents or patients Monitor food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health code policies and regulations, conducting regular audits and staff training Oversee budget management for the dietary department, including inventory control, purchasing, and cost analysis to optimize resources Experience Proven experience in food service management within assisted living or healthcare settings Strong background in clinical nutrition, dietetics, or related fields with knowledge of physiology and nutrition principles Demonstrated supervisory experience managing food production teams in a fast-paced environment Experience with managing budgets, overseeing food service health regulation policy compliance, and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs Assisted living experience is highly preferred; candidates should possess excellent team management skills and leadership qualities Join us in delivering exceptional nutritional care that enhances the quality of life for our residents.
