Each Team Member at War Trail Spirits will contribute by working in the kitchen, providing cocktail service and bartending. Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide engaging, informative tastings of our products, including our potato vodka, potato vodka flavors, gin, bourbon and whiskey. Educate visitors on beverage flavors, production processes, and pairing suggestions to enhance their tasting experience. Operate POS systems such Square to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage cash handling duties including processing cash transactions, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room & kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with beverage recipe development and presentation to ensure high-quality service standards are met. Support sales initiatives by upselling products, and promoting merchandise to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during busy hours or special events like tastings or private functions. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles such as bartending, serving, or restaurant work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a beverage setting and light kitchen prep.
