Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum training requirement of three 8-hour shifts per week over a three-week period) Position Summary The Lead Server is a key member of the Jeremiah's Italian Ice leadership team and serves as an extension of the Store Manager. This position provides day-to-day leadership to the server team while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and adherence to company standards. The Lead Server balances front-line leadership with administrative responsibilities and serves as the Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence. Key Responsibilities 1. Shift Leadership & Guest ExperienceOperational Leadership
  • Lead daily shift operations to ensure efficient service, proper staffing, and smooth workflow.
  • Monitor guest volume and adjust product production to meet demand.
  • Ensure cash drawers are properly stocked and balanced throughout each shift. Team Leadership
  • Assign positions using the Freeze Frame deployment system.
  • Manage employee breaks while maintaining compliance with federal and state labor laws, including minor labor regulations.
  • Conduct Table Touches to monitor team performance and guest satisfaction. Guest Service Excellence
  • Model Jeremiah's Five-Star Guest Service standards.
  • Coach and develop team members through real-time feedback.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally, calmly, and with genuine care. Rewards Program
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the J-List Rewards Program.
  • Consistently coach servers to educate guests and promote program participation. Safety & Incident Response
  • Respond appropriately to employee and guest emergencies.
  • Complete accurate incident reports whenever required.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment. 2. Operations & Quality ControlProduct Quality
  • Uphold Jeremiah's product standards, including the "Mess It Up, Dress It Up" philosophy.
  • Monitor portion sizes and presentation standards.
  • Complete Product Quality Control Logs (PQCLs).
  • Monitor and manage Ice Cream Overrun. Opening & Closing Procedures
  • Execute all opening responsibilities, including: o Bucket preparation o Till setup o Store readiness
  • Execute all closing responsibilities, including: o Cash handling o Tip declaration o Deposit preparation o Store security Equipment Management
  • Properly clean, sanitize, and prime ice cream machines.
  • Troubleshoot common equipment issues.
  • Report maintenance concerns promptly. Store Assessments
  • Conduct Store Assessment Report walkthroughs.
  • Correct deficiencies to maintain passing audit scores.
  • Utilize Secret Shop results to coach and improve team performance. Technology & POS Systems
  • Operate and troubleshoot: o Revel POS o Customer Display System (CDS) o Kitchen Display System (KDS) o Online Ordering (OLO) platforms o Offline POS functionality when necessary 3. Financial & Administrative ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accountability
  • Perform nightly safe counts.
  • Complete reconciliation logs.
  • Prepare and submit change orders.
  • Generate and review daily sales reports using Revel. Inventory Management
  • Assist with scheduled inventory counts.
  • Place Sysco supply orders using established pars and historical sales trends. Administrative Tracking Maintain accurate store documentation, including:
  • Daily Sales Reports (DSRs)
  • Master Tracker updates
  • Invoice Control Logs
  • Labor tracking
  • Employee comp tracking Invoice Processing
  • Verify supplier invoices for accuracy.
  • Scan, email, and properly file invoices.
  • Maintain organized financial records. 4. Team Development & Store CultureTraining
  • Serve as a Certified Server Trainer using the Server Cool School curriculum.
  • Ensure new team members receive consistent, high-quality training. Coaching & Communication
  • Conduct Chill Chats to provide recognition and constructive coaching.
  • Complete Communication Matrix updates.
  • Review employee time punches for payroll accuracy. Culture & Engagement
  • Promote Jeremiah's culture and Core Values.
  • Assist with holiday celebrations and team-building events.
  • Participate in Lead Server Leadership Meetings.
  • Responsibly manage the team morale budget. Community Engagement
  • Support Local Store Marketing (LSM) initiatives.
  • Assist with Ice Nights, recruiting events, catering opportunities, and community outreach activities.
Qualifications & Prerequisites Candidates must meet the following requirements before beginning the nine-shift
Lead Server Training Program:
Required Qualifications
  • Successfully earn a Cool School Server Degree.
  • Consistently demonstrate Jeremiah's Core Values and embrace the company's "Frogma," including its history, mission, and vision.
  • Display initiative by actively seeking opportunities to improve store operations.
  • Maintain full compliance with the Frog Squad Handbook and Lead Server uniform standards.
  • Successfully obtain ServSafe Food Handler certification during the operational training program. Preferred Skills

Pay:
$9.00 - $12.00 per hour
