Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shift
• Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
• Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
• Collaborate with other shift leaders and management to implement new procedures or policies

Experience:

• Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of bartending, hotel operations, coffee preparation, banquet setup, food production, and catering services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

Working Conditions:

• Most shifts are between six to eight hours, but this may vary.
• Crew Leaders can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend and/or holiday hours and may have additional opening/closing responsibilities.
• Lead Crew Members by demonstrating Tropical Smoothie Cafes core values in all interactions.
• Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene polices for each shift.
• Fun, fast-paced, upbeat environment with no fryers!

Hourly Rate:

$11

• $14 (Average hourly Rate Including Tips)
