Job Summary The Floating Shift Lead at Summit Pizza plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations across multiple locations within Utah County, including Pleasant Grove, Lehi, and Saratoga Springs. This position involves assisting the area manager with shift management, team training, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. The Floating Shift Lead provides leadership and managerial communication to foster a positive team environment and maintain high operational standards. Flexibility and open availability are essential to effectively support various shifts and locations as needed. Responsibilities Assist the area manager in overseeing day-to-day operations at three different locations. Manage shifts efficiently, ensuring smooth restaurant operations during assigned hours. Provide team leadership by motivating staff, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a positive work environment. Conduct team training to ensure staff are knowledgeable about food safety practices, customer service standards, and operational procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and management to address issues promptly and maintain clear workflow. Uphold food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies. Support management in implementing policies, resolving operational challenges, and maintaining high service quality. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles preferred. Strong managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively. Ability to train staff on food safety standards and operational procedures. Leadership qualities with a focus on team development and motivation. Flexibility with open availability to cover various shifts across multiple locations. Reliable transportation or means to support travel between three locations as needed.
