Full-Time Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:30a-3:30p (could be some later caterings) Job Summary Join a team where hospitality, leadership, and REAL Food come together. As a Catering Lead with Thomas Cuisine, you'll oversee the day-to-day execution of catering events while helping bring memorable experiences to life through scratch-made food, genuine service, and thoughtful attention to detail. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll coordinate catering orders from planning through delivery, support and guide team members, and ensure every event reflects our commitment to quality, hospitality, and operational excellence. What You'll Do Lead daily catering operations, ensuring events are prepared, presented, and executed accurately and on time. Coordinate catering orders, event logistics, and client communication using CaterTrax and other operational tools. Support food preparation, setup, delivery, service, and event breakdown while maintaining high standards of presentation and hospitality. Guide and support catering team members, providing direction during event execution and daily operations. Monitor food quality, service standards, sanitation, and food safety compliance. Build positive relationships with clients, guests, and teammates while delivering exceptional customer service. Assist with inventory, equipment organization, and maintaining catering readiness. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring High School Diploma/GED Previous catering, hospitality, food service, or event experience; lead or supervisory experience preferred. Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail. Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently, lead by example, and support team success. Familiarity with CaterTrax, catering software, or comparable technology preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handler Card preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry event supplies, and support catering setup and delivery activities. Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Physical and Sensory Requirements This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks.
